Step 1

Boil the pasta for a few minutes. |

Stir fry the onion, garlic, bacon and minced meat in a little olive oil. |

Add the polpa and season well. |

Make the besciamella sauce - Heat butter in a pan until melted, add flour and stir until smooth. Cook over medium heat until light golden brown and add the warm milk slowly, whisking continuously until smooth. |

In a separate bowl mix the ricotta, grated cheese and eggs. |

In a deep dish layer the pasta, spinach, ham, sauce and ricotta mixture. |

Step 7
|
Once ready top with the besciamella and a little grated cheese. |

Step 8

Bake in a pre-heated oven, on moderate temperature, for about an hour. |
