Lasagne

Ingredients

1kg Lasagne Sheets
200g Minced Pork
200g Minced Beef
100g Streaky Bacon
100g Ham sliced
200g Ricotta
100g Grated Cheese
200g Spinach cooked
1 Onion finely chopped
1 clove Garlic finely chopped
A little Olive Oil
2 Egg beaten
500ml Milk fresh
½ cup Flour
500g Tomato Polpa
Salt & Pepper

Steps

Step 1

Boil the pasta for a few minutes.

Step 2

Stir fry the onion, garlic, bacon and minced meat in a little olive oil.

Step 3

Add the polpa and season well.

Step 4

Make the besciamella sauce - Heat butter in a pan until melted, add flour and stir until smooth. Cook over medium heat until light golden brown and add the warm milk slowly, whisking continuously until smooth.

Step 5

In a separate bowl mix the ricotta, grated cheese and eggs.

Step 6

In a deep dish layer the pasta, spinach, ham, sauce and ricotta mixture.

Step 7

Once ready top with the besciamella and a little grated cheese.

Step 8

Bake in a pre-heated oven, on moderate temperature, for about an hour.
