Chicken Kebabs With Couscous

Ingredients

800g Chicken Breast
200g Maltese Sausage smoked
200g Collar Bacon
200g Cherry Tomatoes
2 small Onion
2 Coloured Pepper
1 Lemon Juice
1 cup Couscous
8 Wooden Skewers

Steps

Step 1

Chop the chicken into cubes.

Step 2

Chop the sausage, peppers and onions into chunks.

Step 3

On each skewer, alternate pieces of chicken, sausage, bacon, tomato, onion and pepper.

Step 4

Squeeze some lemon juice onto each skewer and roast in the oven for about 45 minutes.
You can also cook these kebabs on the BBQ.

Step 5

Steam the couscous in boiling water and serve with the kebabs.

Prime Tips

You can use the same recipe to make different meat kebabs such as pork (used fillet), veal (topside), beef (fresh rump) or rabbit (rump).

When it comes to vegetables you can also use mushrooms and courgettes.
